50 Liters a day
I've decided that I will give myself a challenge that will actually be beneficial to someone besides me. That person being a thing... and that thing being the planet.
The other day I took an empty 500mL water bottle and filled it up with some old disposable razors, an old butter knife, and water. Took the top off my toilet and set it in. Wow rocket science, and he's so original. Now that's one toilet. There are two of us that live in this apartment. I guarantee that there are going to be MINIMUM 2 flushes in the morning... and 2 flushes before bed. That's a savings of 2 liters of water a day! Again wow, 2 whole liters. Now this is where the challenge comes in. If I can place a bottle in 25 toilets that I know will be flushed at least twice a day then that's 50+ liters per day. If the next time I'm at a Chinese reastuant at 3 in the morning on a Saturday I slip a bottle in the public washroom it could be flushed 100 times a night on the weekend. There's 50 liters right there! So really 50 is more of a bare minimum. But if everyone that read this (Sam) tried to do the same thing then it all adds up. All you need is some garbage :)

PEI Marathon
Last week after finding out that there was a marathon happening in town I decided to head to Walmart and pick up a pair of seventeen dollar running shoes and run a 42.2 KM marathon.
Surprisingly it wasn't really that hard. I think that had I done even a couple weeks of training I could have gotten a much better time. Also I think the aftermath (the fact that I can't really walk at all) would have been much less annoying.
Anyway here are the official results
Place 226, Chadwick Dearford 4:54:22
Also here is the recommended training schedule for the full marathon which I chose to neglect;

This post is for Sam. The only person who will know that I've updated my blog :)
So basically I made it home without getting Malaria or staving to death. I know live an average life working at a hotel and living in an apartment in good old Charlottetown. BORING I know, but I'll try to spice things up a bit. I have a few ideas I've what I would like to make this blog, and I don't really care it fails... because Sam, your the only one reading it.
